About Us

        Born into a long line of skilled artisans, Sam Hurst was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Hurst family has been rooted in Lancaster County for multiple generations, and family origins can even be traced back to the Revolutionary War with Irish roots. Married for over 25 years, he continues to deepen those roots with his family of six children and two dogs. 

 

        At the age of 19, Sam began his career in masonry. He helped remodel various homes in the area, and after a few years as a mason, he decided to expand upon his skills and learn carpentry & trim carpentry. Sam fell in love with the craft and has built a career as a master woodworker. A true perfectionist, Sam brings his 25+ years of expertise to any project, big or small.
